How to read our results

We compare CBR exam results. The figures help build a shortlist; they do not assess every instructor or learning need.

Source and period

After CBR releases its quarterly data, we import it and calculate peer scores. The displayed period belongs to the dataset, not the date of your visit.

Pass rates

First exam: passed / (passed + failed). Retake: the same calculation for retakes. Overall: all passed exams / all exams. Without observations a percentage is unknown.

Peer baseline = 100

We display the peer index supplied in the dataset, using 100 as the reference. It is not a 0–100 rating or your personal pass probability. The upstream formula, peer selection and thresholds have not yet been independently verified. The displayed reference is not a verified arithmetic average of schools on a city page. The website does not recalculate peer scores.

Location and sample

A rate based on few exams is more uncertain. We display the dataset’s badges and use its eligibility flag for city rankings; their numerical thresholds have not yet been verified. A RELIABLE badge does not guarantee teaching quality, and limited data does not mean a school is poor. City pages show schools using the associated exam centres. This does not confirm pickup coverage. The exam-centre association count is not the scoring peer-group count.

What we do not know

CBR results describe exams, not personal suitability. Prices, languages, automatic lessons, lesson pace, personal attention, availability and anxiety support are not yet verified. Confirm these details with the school.

Independence

Payment does not change the CBR ranking. We may earn commission on purchases through our theory partner; this is disclosed with the offer.
